Drop into the body
Massage triggers relaxation mode to slow down brain waves. This allows conscious awareness to move from the head into the body.
Lean into hard emotions
In the body we can lean into the hard emotion that is causing us pain. We can then get in touch with the emotion.
Once you have accessed the emotion then you can find your unique way of expressing it either through crying, art therapy, journaling or exercise.
When emotions ar released the body brings oxytocin into your blood stream to soothe you. With the pain healed, you can come back to feeling healthy and happy again.
